Our Forest District staff look after the public forests and land in our care. They are part of the Forestry Commission known as Forest Enterprise England, and these are the contact points for local information about the land and forests we manage on topics such as:
Walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, angling, shooting and stalking; Education; Wildlife; Deer management; Timber production; Quarries, windfarms and other commercial developments on public forest land; and Legal matters connected to the land which we manage, such as leases, wayleaves etc.
